As an Allies in Caring therapist, you help underserved youth, adults and families with a range of challenges including emotional, behavioral or developmental to move toward recovery, health, connection and greater independence through counseling, education and community support. Services are delivered in private homes as well as community spaces.

Opportunities are available in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Gloucester, Salem Counties as well as our Hammonton office. Some telehealth opportunities also available.

We utilize a strengths based approach providing individuals with support in the areas of executive functioning, life skills, wellness, and therapeutic work. Our clinicians have participated in trainings in Mindfulness Based Stress Management interventions, Systems Centered Therapy, Person Centered Interventions, Trauma Focused CBT etc. We also provide our clinicians with monthly group psychotherapy consultation and case consultation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy to youth, adults and/or families
  • Participate in clinical supervision, case conferences and treatment team meetings
  • Complete required documentation within established timeframes
  • Continued professional development

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish preferred; English speakers welcome to apply as well
  • NJ Professional License such as LPC, LAC, LCSW, LSC, LMFT, preferred
  • Minimal requirement is Master's or Doctoral Degree in a mental health field; license eligible preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in collaborative environment
  • Ability to collaborate with a team by communicating via email, text, phone or virtual meeting
  • Proficient in using online services and Office 365 including Outlook Email, Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage documentation through organization and state systems
  • Willingness to provide services in person at private homes in the community within a minimum of 30 minutes from your home
  • NJ criminal history check and NJ child abuse clearance required
  • Valid driver’s license
